NetLibrary

Hi. I like NetLibrary a lot. I downloaded a book at home quite easily. The only thing is I didn't have time to listen to the whole book in one sitting and I couldn't figure out how to make it go to the place I last left off. I then forgot about my book, because I hate to admit it, but I often watch tv (gasp!) when I'm working on the computer. I think my checkout time expired and I have to see if I still remember my account login..sigh! But once I take care of this, I'll try again and see if I can figure out how to stop and start the online audio books!

Podcasts

Hi. It's been a while since I've blogged. So little time so much blogging to do. In any case, I tried podcasting and realized I've podcasted before. I didn't know ITunes were podcasts. I discovered ITunes on my computer at home and had fun listening to radio stations from other countries and states. I then discovered I could listen to old radio programs and have really enjoyed that. I liked podcast.net and found some old radio programs and someone in New Zealand talking about all the rain and science fiction. There were some recordings of different books that I tried, but I think they were recorded with a computerized book reader and the mechanical voice drove me batty! I liked looking at the info on how to do podcasts. I'm not sure what I'd say at this point, but it's great that everyone can have a forum to express him/herself.

you tube and videos

Hi. I forgot to comment on You Tube..it seems pretty interesting. It's a nice way to share clips and to give someone a taste of an experience before they try something. It's kind of addictive, but I guess that isn't too surprising since tv and movies are fairly addictive. It's also a nice forum for posting ideas, hobbies, whatever. Can be pretty strange too it seems, but one person's strange is another person's normal.

This is a video that was sent to me. I have posted it, because I am inspired by its message.
